Participation in preparation for potential presbytery authorisation
To demonstrate your growing understanding:
You will present to a small group of co-learners during the course program. Your presentation may take the form of:
a visual summary or diagram,
a written report,
an oral/online presentation, or
a combination of the above.
Your presentation will address specific learning outcomes (see course program: c & d for Gathering 1; a & b for Gathering 2; c, e & f for Gathering 3). The presentation will connect with your audience providing detailed material pitched to their needs, acknowledge and attribute the sources of information used, and be respectful of other persons and traditions of the Church.
You will prepare a learning portfolio on learning outcomes a to g (see below).

You will submit your learning portfolio for feedback from an experienced Uniting Church leader.
You will prepare to demonstrate learning outcomes d & e to a relevant group (e.g. presbytery PRC), which will also be shared with a small group of course participants. Preparation to demonstrate will include symbolic presentation of the Eucharistic elements, symbolic baptism of an infant and adult, and saying the words of institution and baptism. To receive feedback you may gather family & friends to practice with feedback, video your practice, or negotiate with course leaders.
